I am Central Valley based artistic photographer working in mixed media.  My variety of works include intricate tableau's and intimate street and portrait photography which touches on insecurities and vulnerabilities.  I am native Northern Californian that was an Information Technology professional for thirty years who after being treated for pancreatic cancer in 2015 decided to walk away from technology and follow my yearning for art. My work shares moments, subjects, and creative ideas I have stumbled upon or have been thinking of for years.  In a life with so much hustle and bustle we miss a lot of what is around us or what we think about constantly, day in and day out. My desire is for my work to stop the viewer for a moment and take you on a journey of creative wonderment.   Seeing through my eyes what your own eyes may have missed or maybe the other way around, catching some hidden element which calls to you. I want to share things I have seen, something I have done, and places I have visited, no matter how mundane they may seem. I have always looked at my surroundings with curiosity and interest. My goal is to take viewers on a similar visual journey of a time, space or situation in which they were not present but are now connected through a window.  Hopefully triggering an emotional response that they will take forward on their own journeys.
